I needed to cut a square for a folding tool bench. It was important that not only did I have a perfect square, but I also had to have the outline square so that when I flip everything over, it would fit snugly with 1/8" spacing. I used a regular plunge router with this bit (and holder) and got my cuts in 3 passes by moving it slowly. It has never twisted or left a burn mark. I made 8 cuts as in the picture.
