I am a mountain biker who races enduro in all-mountain races. I had saddle pain and wanted to try something different. I figured a wider seat would distribute my seated weight better and not touch the inside of my chassis. First, this seat looks like a geriatric seat. It literally has an Rx symbol on the side, making it look like a disability seat. I wouldn't let you see my Santa Cruz with him. Sitting was uncomfortable too. It's thick and short, hard cheap material. Don't take this unless you are an elderly person looking for a beach cruise location. I decided to move my Allure seat back, adjust the angle and move the seat forward (different weight distribution). It seems to have helped a lot. If you have a place but are unhappy with it, do yourself a favor and try to fix things first.
