Defective product comes out of the base after 2 months

This was the first humidifier I bought, actually I thought I would appreciate the Wi-Fi connectivity and the smart function. The app itself works great, but it doesn't work as a humidifier. INACCURACY HYGROMETER One of the features of this humidifier is that it has a built-in hygrometer, so it can intelligently create mist to achieve the desired humidity level. This sounds amazing on paper, but in practice the hygrometer readings differ by more than 25%. I have 2 other separate hygrometers installed on my plant shelves and they are fairly consistent while this humidifier reads 25% higher. I guess it's not a big deal, I just set the expected level with the same offset and it works as expected. - LEAKING DEFECT After working for a little over 2 months (2 months + 1 week to be exact) it started to leak at the base where the water tank is located on the base (see attached photo). It flows over my shelves and floor. I figured it must have been an accident so I drained the tank and tried again. nope the same happened. Tried it 3rd time, really wanted it to work. - WATER DROP SOUND Although the device itself is very quiet, you can hear the sound of water droplets inside the humidifier when it is running. And for me it will definitely bother me at night when I'm trying to sleep. Luckily, because it's "smart," I can set up a schedule so it automatically turns off at night and turns back on in the morning. I already mentioned that this is my first humidifier, apart from the very small ones that fit in the palm of your hand (but even the ones that I can't hear at all) I thought it was probably fine, so I gave it high. But due to a leaking issue, I recently ordered another humidifier and it has NO water drop sound at all. - WET MIST. It's more of a bug. As this was my first large humidifier, as I mentioned, I didn't have anything quite like it until I recently got another replacement due to a leaking issue. I've noticed that the mist produced by this Geeni humidifier isn't as subtle as my new replacement. It is "wetter" like mist than fine mist. In particular, I remember that when I raise my hand 10-20 inches above the humidifier, it gets wet within 10 seconds while my hand stays dry with my new humidifier. And to be honest, I wouldn't have noticed if I didn't have a second humidifier to compare. Overall I like the concept and idea of this Geeni humidifier. I like the hardware design as it is more elegant than others on the market. But at the end of the day, it needs to perform well in its primary role as a humidifier, and that feature itself leaves a lot to be desired. .
