THIS HAS TO BE ONE OF THE BEST FILTERS ON THE MARKET. I bought this for my 20,000 BTU Friedrich air conditioner in my living room. I keep it for hours. This filter is very dense, so the smallest dust particles get inside. Wash every 30 days according to the instructions. I do this every 3 weeks to get the maximum benefit. Very easy to cut to size. This filter is very flexible and durable. I have to slide the top 2 corners of the filter under 2 very tight pins to hold it in place. The filter didn't break at all like I've had with other cheaper filters. I stuck the bottom in and it bent over about 1/2 inch. It fits and stays in place due to its flexibility and thickness. Easy to wash and wring, regains shape quickly. I hang it on 2 plastic clips to dry and there is no damage or even dents on the foam. I don't think you can do anything better than this filter. I am very happy with it.
