Review on TomTom Go 520: Smart GPS Navigation with Traffic Updates, World Maps, Wi-Fi, Messaging, Voice Control, & Hands-free Calling by Aries Reed

UPDATE: I received an email from support about 2 weeks after I sent it and after I returned the product giving me a one time map available provided download. Lifetime map updates around the world are false advertising. **ORIGINAL POST: I bought this for a trip to Europe because it includes lifetime maps of North America, South America, Europe, etc. My Garmin is a few years old and it costs $99 to download a map of Europe. The TomTom multi-continent maps and lifetime updates listed on the Revain website are incorrect. When I logged in, it only shows a subscription to the US One Time Download card. This prevented me from downloading a map of Europe via the online web interface, the TomTom MyDrive app for Windows, or using Wi-Fi on the device itself. I even bought an SD card to pop in in case I can't load a map of Europe due to lack of space. In fact, the MyDrive app insisted on showing a popup in the MyDrive for Windows app every time I plugged in the device, telling me that I could use the device to update itself over Wi-Fi and that the popup was the icon covert on the device and will not disappear. I contacted TomTom support through the online account I created and after 4 days I didn't get a reply. So I wrapped it up and sent it back. I'll just stick with Garmin.
