We use them for flour and ice cream and even steam in the grandkids sandbox. They work great. The material slides off immediately - never sticks (even in high humidity). They are a good size. A scoop of ice cream fills my 12-ounce glass about 3/4 full, so it's perfect for me - 1 and it's done. The sides are nice and tall so it doesn't fall all over the place when pouring; It blends beautifully with whatever you pour it into. It's especially good in the sandbox where kids get frustrated with the plastic spatula breaking or the sand spilling all over the place instead of in the bucket or truck they're trying to fill.
