These are not great measuring spoons. They're tiny at 1 ounce, which you would use to scoop coffee or sugar for a cup of coffee. 😑 They also have a warning that they may expose you to LEAD. NOT FOR FOOD USE.

I would not buy this item. I washed it in the dishwasher before using it for the first time and the coating came off. It has a rough, flat surface. I wonder if it will continue to rust? I don't feel comfortable using it around meals. The website should state that it is not dishwasher safe.

I thought it was 5" but they must have meant only the spoon with handle, it was more like 7" and didn't fit my pitcher. It's great if you like a slightly knotty texture, I prefer a smooth texture for picking up sugar, flour and baked goods. I gifted it to my daughter, for whom neither length nor texture is a problem, she is happy!

Bought for my girlfriend as a flour spoon, she loves to bake. It wasn't until it arrived that I opened the package and saw "WARNING: MAY CAUSE LEAD EXPOSURE". What the hell? In case any of you didn't know, lead exposure is VERY serious, humans cannot ingest more than microscopic amounts of lead without becoming seriously toxic. I think we are for display only and not for actual use on food. As soon as they are washed, the coating on them will begin to wash off, causing "ink spatter" every time they are even touched. They are essentially non-functional. I had to throw them away less than a week after I had them. I won't even return them. They were definitely a waste of money. -nsf

I'm feeling a bit silly as it's probably because I don't understand what '1 ounce' says on them or what they can be bigger. I received it today and it's tiny. We use them for flour and ice cream and even steam in the grandkids sandbox. They work great. The material slides off immediately - never sticks (even in high humidity). They are a good size. A scoop of ice cream fills my 12-ounce glass about 3/4 full, so it's perfect for me - 1 and it's done.
