Works as intended to hold pressure in a hydraulic line - in my case as a temporary parking brake on an agricultural vehicle.
Used as a parking brake for agricultural machinery. Not for long-term parking, since the battery will run out, but for holding on to the mountain when loading a truck. It was a cheap solution rather than looking for a driveshaft brake which was too expensive to replace.
