HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Truly "Advanced" and "Non-Stick". Longevity is a major concern for cookware, at least for people who grew up with metal utensils that occasionally slip on autopilot and ruin nonstick pan surfaces (red). They can be damaged, but even with minimal care, they will last for years. (Our first one is still in pristine condition - we just ordered another to replace our original 8" smooth finish Calphalon oven, the interior of which just disappears. For typical small batch cooking, an 8" Oven just right and often takes two.) The pan is thick and heats up quickly. The non-stick coating is much better than a traditional smooth pan. Having lived with it for several years, this T-Fal design in all sizes will be our choice for a replacement if needed. My wife sometimes goes mad cooling a hot pan of water - ahhh - and the lightened underside of this pan seems to withstand abuse and doesn't warp (ugh!)
