I just installed this item but I suspect it will last a long time. Seems well done. It's as close to a perfect OEM match as you can get and at such an affordable price. It stinks that I now have to carry extra keys (one for the door, one for the ignition), but it's better than leaving the truck unlocked like I used to have to. It was a little tricky to install because I didn't know what I was doing and there were no instructions, but I finally got it done with the help of YouTube. Now it works as expected. Good product, I recommend if you need a replacement for a broken ignition lock cylinder.
