Review on Amprobe BT 120 Circuit Breaker Tracer by Mark Cole

Works great but read my notes

Works great. Here's what the manual doesn't tell you. If you are testing multiple outlets, you must reset the receiver after testing each outlet. Let's say you are testing outlet #1 and using the tester to find the switch and turn it off. Everything is fine and you have identified the breaker associated with this outlet. Then move the transmitter to a new outlet. You need to press the button on the side of the "receiver" that looks like a remote control. Pressing the button resets the receiver (a device similar to a remote control). After pressing the button, you need to slowly scan the switches. Breaker scanning calibrates the device. You must calibrate for each outlet. The receiver will light up and chirp to you. Do not hold down the button on the receiver. Press the button once and the receiver turns on. You will see a small red light come on. After scanning the breakers to reset the receiver, slowly move the receiver over the breakers a second time. The switch is then reliably recognized. I had my nine year old son scan the switches and I was in the basement with my phone moving the transmitter from outlet to outlet. He could select the switch 100%. We scanned 9 different switches. Works perfectly! Read the instructions and my hints and you will be satisfied with this tool.
