I love you carpets! What else can you do with recycled tires? I have used them in my homes as my mom used to do before me! They are heavy duty and have plenty of room between the mud and snow loops to scrape off boots and boots! We even taught our dogs to wipe their paws on it before going inside! Paws not rubbed. The carpet is easy to clean. Simply turn it over to wash away dirt or snow, then sweep the surface it was standing on and the carpet. If the weather permits, you can take the mat somewhere and hose it down. Just support it to dry before putting it back in place. Wet and dry works too. If it needs cleaning in winter when there is a lot of snow on the ground, you can turn it into snow to clean it and then secure it at least wet-dry before putting it back at the entrance. Despite this, I have to admit that I rarely clean my carpets. I didn't mind if they looked dark gray instead of black. I just rolled them up and swept them from time to time!
