My Mercedes SLK 350 trunk was getting harder and harder to lift. I found that the lifting legs were starting to fail. I ordered these BOXI jacks and installed them the same day I received them. Installing one of these was a little tricky as you had to open the trunk as wide as possible while you engaged the prop. It was difficult for one person to do both, so I enlisted my wife's support. We both made it in minutes. Now the trunk can be opened easily. They worked fine. Even with a little effort, opening the trunk wide enough for two people to install it only took about 15 minutes. Time will tell how long they last but they come with a lifetime guarantee so I'm not worried. I would recommend it to everyone.
