The only thing not shown in the photos or instructions is how to install without damaging the plastic hinge covers. 1 - Remove the cover next to the hinge and slide it to the left. There is a small notch on the left end. 2 - Align the cover over the hinge and mark the center of the hole. 3 - Drill a hole larger than the insert. It doesn't have to be tight, water still runs off. 4 - Replace the covers, making sure the holes line up with the screws. 5 - The rest is easy and provided according to the instructions.
