Don't worry, my devices weren't getting power. I even got a second one.

I was looking for a USB hub that I could plug into the wall and then connect all my USB powered devices to (e.g. charge phones, speakers, etc). The small blue lights that indicate power will light up. However, my devices receive little to no power. If this were labeled as a hub splitter and not powered I'd understand, but that's not what it's designed for. So I sent the hub back thinking I had a defective one, but no. The second device simply had no power supply for all connected devices. So avoid the hassle of ordering and returning and just skip it all together.
