Review on πŸ”ͺ Kyocera 4.5" Black Ceramic Steak Knife Set - 4-piece Bundle by Brooke Washington

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Light, very sharp steak knives

I have used these several times since receiving them and am always amazed at how sharp they are and how well they cut. The blades are very thin and the handles are smooth and neat and offer a good grip. They are particularly easy to care for. I've worked with ceramic knives in the past and have generally been happy with their performance, but in every case I've managed to break the blades. They look very fragile and I'm worried that jumping or slipping could break the blade. You must be very careful not to put pressure on the side of the knife blade or twist the knife. However, they are advertised as a durable material so only time will tell how durable they are. I cross my fingers! This was a request for a Vine product for review purposes, so I had no product color choice and received the white-on-white version. While whites are beautiful because they're so thin and petite, at first glance they look like disposable plastic knives. At $100 for a set of 4, they're not disposable at all. I would have preferred a different color if I had chosen. I gave the knives 5 stars for their sleek and detailed design and performance. While I personally would never order all white knives, the only thing that kind of spoils my rating is the color of the handle. If the blades hold up as the product literature claims, then this will be a great set of steak knives for years to come.
