Review on ๐Ÿ”Œ Minimize Amp Noise with InstallGear Ground Loop Isolator by Draven Invert

Revainrating 4 out of 5

It works (BUT) with car electronics accessory

EDIT: I was too excited that he was gone AND with him about 70% of the signal. So now the sub is barely noticeable. I decided to put it next to the receiver and plug it into the same outlet. It's not there and the signal is 100%. The product allows the loop BUT it picks up too much signal and supports the sine so the subwoofer never goes into standby mode. I will search further! Solution. This product solved my ground loop problem. My home theater subwoofer started humming overnight. I called Crutchfield for advice and they said I needed a new one ($900). I did a little research and decided to give this $10 product a try after testing the subwoofer with the same power supply as the receiver and a short mono cable. that the sub is working fine. A NOTICE. I tried powering the subwoofer with an extension cord from the same source as the receiver and used the original mono cord, but the hum was still there. This test led me to believe that the problem was not with the outlet but with the mono cable. Before spending over $100 on a new cable (20 feet), I decided to try this product. It worked. The ONLY thing to note is that the subwoofer no longer goes into standby mode. This leads me to believe there is now a constant signal keeping it from falling asleep. Either way, I saved at least $100 on cable or up to $900 on a new subwoofer.
