Too thick! in cleaning wipes

I bought these mainly to clean windows. What I find is that they are too thick - I know how that's possible? When I spray on windows, the rag doesn't pick up the first spray drop. The spray just stays on the rag, which needs a little rubbing. This does not apply to other thinner microfiber clothing that I own. Washing didn't help. They seem perfect for something wet like a car wash or your pet Fluffy.
