The converter worked very well. We didn't actually need an adapter plug, since the device already uses the most common plug in Europe, but we took it with us anyway, just in case. The handy carry case was great as it allowed me to store my USB and other cables as well as the Foval itself. Pros: It's so nice to have so many power outlets and USB ports in one device! My wife and I were able to charge everything at once. Strong. Very well made and seems to last a long time. Cons: A bit heavy and bulky for backpackers, but no problem for suitcase travelers. Loud fan. I turned it off for a couple of nights. It does charge quickly though, so by the time I got out of the shower the phone had plenty of charge. We started charging before bed or when we woke up and got ready. A lot of time and fan noise were not a problem. Destination countries: Germany, Czech Republic, Poland. Duration of travel and use of Foval: three weeks. Rechargeable items: Bluetooth headphones, iPhone and iPad at the same time.
