This converter was great. My wife mainly uses it for her hair.

This converter has been great. My wife used it mainly for curling, which draws a little less than 200w at 110v. However, the best thing about this device was the 4 USB ports, which allowed us to charge two iPhones and two tablets each night. By adding two Apple USB chargers to two outlets, we were able to charge six devices at the same time. (The other two items were my camera and battery.) The included cable is more convenient than devices that plug directly into the wall, especially for USBโ€ฆ

Works well but NOT with a blow dryer or flat iron.

This product was purchased for delivery to Europe as having multiple 'sockets' to plug in when returning to a dorm with limited wall outlets was a key selling point. The fan didn't bother me at all (despite what some people think). However, if you buy this, use a hair dryer or flat iron. IT WILL NOT WORK. The only benefit of this comment is the fact that this device has an auto shut off feature so it won't ruin your straightener or hair dryer. I was only disappointed because I really thought it

EXTREMELY DANGEROUS and UNSAFE! DO NOT BUY THIS UNLESS YOU WANT TO START A FIRE!

Possibly the most dangerous thing I've ever bought. I bought it for use in Argentina and now that I'm there I have 2 USB devices plugged into USB and a small alarm clock plugged into a regular plug. After about 50 minutes there were 3 very loud clicks and the device started throwing sparks at the wall and wooden table and then caught fire. It's a miracle I was by his side when it happened, otherwise the whole building could have burned down. It's been 32 days since I ordered so no help fromโ€ฆ

Zero stars on power converters

It would be better than zero stars. I'm in Italy and have all sorts of large transformers and a few smaller ones, but I don't have any low power transformers with a 2-plug option. I bought this very excitedly to use on some craft projects. I excitedly hooked up my devices (each device draws 4 watts, 8 watts total) and it worked! Hooray! I quickly turned it off and left to do something else. A few minutes later I heard a strong pop and went to this transformer (which was plugged in but theโ€ฆ

Lots of ports to load multiple items at the same time. Robust construction.

The converter worked very well. We didn't actually need an adapter plug, since the device already uses the most common plug in Europe, but we took it with us anyway, just in case. The handy carry case was great as it allowed me to store my USB and other cables as well as the Foval itself. Pros: It's so nice to have so many power outlets and USB ports in one device! My wife and I were able to charge everything at once. Strong. Very well made and seems to last a long time. Cons: A bit heavy andโ€ฆ
