This product was purchased for delivery to Europe as having multiple 'sockets' to plug in when returning to a dorm with limited wall outlets was a key selling point. The fan didn't bother me at all (despite what some people think). However, if you buy this, use a hair dryer or flat iron. IT WILL NOT WORK. The only benefit of this comment is the fact that this device has an auto shut off feature so it won't ruin your straightener or hair dryer. I was only disappointed because I really thought it would work based on a few other reviews. Now that I don't travel anymore I'll still use this to top up multiple items at once, but beware ladies, this doesn't work abroad (at least in the 5 European countries I've used). this) for your hair care essentials.
