ENJOY THE ART OF CHARLE WYSOTSKY IN YOUR COLORING PICTURE

This delightful coloring book by Mead illustrates the work of popular folk artist Charles Wysotsky (1928-2002). A colorist might relish the opportunity to recreate the amazing craftsmanship of this master, though hoping for a mirror image is pointless. No one captured the radiant beauty of nature and animals like Vysotsky. Viewing his works inevitably brings with it a sense of peace and longing for the days of his glorious simplicity. I will not comment on the technical details of this coloring book. I haven't seen any glaring issues with seepage or complexity. Spending a little time coloring between the lines is what the coloring craze is all about. I do not intend to sell or display my masterpieces, so a little pop of color will not affect their monetary value. Relax, move consciously, and then enjoy what you created with the help of Vysotsky's hand. I would have liked a little more variety, as Vysotsky has created other wonderful artworks with themes such as cats, fancy haunted houses, Halloween fun, landscapes, marine displays, and a still life that usually has a cat or two weaving between the treasures. I will be urging his family licensing agent to produce more coloring books featuring his other work. Grab this book and some crayons and enjoy long hours of pure fun (minus the nagging from the other room that you walk more). Schuyler T Wallace, author of Tin Lizard Stories
