Not very useful good for fish and aquatic animals

Not very useful for a fresh water tank but helped me know when to pull out a real test kit. Bought a very reasonable tank water change alarm, sticks to the glass and the central display changes color when the ammonia level gets high, great product if you are starting a new tank.
