Probably you should have read the description more carefully. It came without a catch. So I had to buy separately. The fabric was a little stiffer than I would have liked. I bought this item for my grandchildren aged 11, 6 and 5. Initially they were enthusiastic, but these projects can take hours to complete. Over time, they became less interested in the locking hook. Know your listeners. :).
