Works fantastic and flexible

Bought to connect PoE cameras and run ethernet in a house with a converted garage in our manufacturing area. They also have a home office with 2 workstations to create videos for our company which are hosted on our website and YouTube. If you're looking at a 4k video theater room with 4 ports in that room and 4 ports per MB, there's a lot of data going through. This is because Apple 4k TVs, Fire TVs, and DirectV can be overkill with true smart TVs, but the more hardware the better. I access the internet through a TP Link dual router with wired internet and am currently using Starlink as a backup. This baby works, the whole system has a lot of redundancy because this switch has a wireless router tplink wifi 6 and a remote repeater 1 connected to it. I can live with a cheap cable internet package because of redundancy and load balancing, so 200 Mbps, and Starlink runs at around 125 Mbps, nothing is buffered, and we get 1GB transfer to a direct file and media server. All for less than $80. For this device, dual band was 60 and wifi was $80, crazy price I think, my cable doubled the download for the same $40 price. So only 600Mbps internet with my solar and battery backup, even in a storm my business is fine and everything is online. Starlink costs $99, but I just like not being tied to a telco. If this Comcast blows up, I can just cancel it.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Not the best
