Cheap quality: networking products

I just received this device and I think you get what you pay for. Very cheap build quality, and while it seems to work well for most (but not all) devices, the individual port on/off switches don't work at all. They're always on, whether you press the buttons or not. The build quality is so cheap that I don't even think I'll try the charging port. The power cord is also very short, which is a real problem. While this works most of the time, I think I'll invest in something more robust.
