Installed this heater after two NAPA heaters failed after one season. This cable has an extremely tight fit to connect to a real heater. When mounted on a Duramax unit, it is difficult to get into the correct position to properly insert the electrical connector. I installed the plug on the heater BEFORE installing it in the block. For ease of installation, use a small amount of silicone grease (DIY installation) to facilitate installation. Make sure the heater is fully inserted into the hole in the block when tightening. If you miss it and keep blowing, it may leak. Very happy with this heater - it is heavier than other/similar heaters.
