This engine will work in a '99 Wrangler, but not as easily. The electrical connection fits perfectly, the motor sounds good, fits the bracket well. wave problem. There are two flat spots on the shaft that correspond to the small port on the wiper assembly. The flat spots are in the wrong place and prevent the wipers from aligning. I thought maybe they sent me the wrong one, they sent another one and it has the same problem. I eventually got this motor to work, but I had to modify the small connecting shaft on my wiper assembly to fit the wrong flat spots. So yes it works, but if you want to easily change the motor then this motor isn't for you.
