I have long wanted a small, easy to use sharpener that I could keep handy in my desk drawer for some time. I have an electric sharpener that I love, but it's kind of a hassle to pull it out every time I need to clean up a knife blade. This little sharpener is just the thing! No longer than my paring knife, easy to hold and easy to use, this sharpener breathed new life into my knives in minutes. The handle is sized just right and doesn't require much downward pressure to hold the sharpener in place during use. my countertop the way I'd like it to be, but to be honest I've sharpened a paring knife, an 8" chef's knife, and a 9" boning knife, and the sharpener has never slipped, so it's probably not a big deal ... important. . All in all I would recommend this sharpener to anyone who needs a small and easy to use knife sharpener. harp at hand.
