I bought this because I work with Volvo cars every day. This tool's adaptation to their filters is pretty good; a bit loose as there is little room to maneuver. After the filter is fully tightened, you must tap the wrench or ratchet in the other direction with enough force to remove this tool from it. UPDATE: I really regret not reading the other reviews. After a few months of use this part started slipping on Volvo oil filters. Please take note of these reviewers as this item is definitely wider than 86mm. Slightly disappointed that this issue did not occur before Revain's 30 day return window. Spend a few bucks more and get a different cap.
