Our daughter was just born, and we also have a boy who is a little bit older. Two youngsters can sit comfortably in the same chair. It opens out like a cradle for the younger child and transforms into the most dependable chair for the bigger child. It is not necessary to switch seats if you are taking the trip with your father one at a time. Depending on the age of the child, one would set it in the appropriate position and adjust it as necessary.
