Not durable, broken after 3 trips
Installed on my boat trailer after the 1996 factory bracket finally broke. This bracket lasted all 3 trips to the lake before breaking in two on the right above the license plate. Luckily I saw and found my plate in the lake. Should be made of thicker metal or reinforced. I think the same will happen with freeway use, wind power, etc. Yes, water is stronger than wind, but it still has to go on. The original bracket on my trailer lasted 22 years! I'll buy thick steel and make it myself. You get what you pay for I guess.
