I lost my expensive license plate due to a broken plastic license plate holder. I wish I had bought this before this happened. This product is cheap compared to a record changer in Florida. The product will not break and is made of aluminum with a diamond plate. If your license plate holder is plastic, you have the money to buy one of these and install it as soon as possible.

I know you can buy cheaper ones but I like the way it looks and the way it sticks out of the trailer around to facilitate plate changing. worth the money. I bought a LED light for IR and it looks really good. Item arrived on time. Because it's made of aluminum, it won't rust and is more durable than plastic. Not too impressed with the duty of the material. I personally can bend it and mis-shape it. I was expecting a stronger aluminum material, but it's a lot better than plastic. The plastic the trailer came with broke almost immediately. However, there are no complaints, it is aluminum, does not rust, it is more difficult to break in half, it looks good and the price is quite acceptable.

Installed on my boat trailer after the 1996 factory bracket finally broke. This bracket lasted all 3 trips to the lake before breaking in two on the right above the license plate. Luckily I saw and found my plate in the lake. Should be made of thicker metal or reinforced. Bought to replace what the seller calls a "weak plastic bracket" that came with my D2K trailer. which broke the second time I used the pendant! Really cool. durable and now my plate won't come off.
