This is a great compact grease gun. First one I've ever owned or used and it's easy to set up and use. Works great and easy to use and lubricates my winch and prop shaft. But if you find yourself topping this up with Aqua Shield lube, check for high temps. Aqua Shield is arguably the best lube for harsh and salty marine environments, but it's an absolute shame to work with because it's so thick, sticky, stringy, and smelly. Seriously, refilling that syringe with Aqua Shield grease was the most disgusting job I've ever had to do on behalf of my sailboat. If you want to learn how to swear like a sailor, this is for you. Innocent ears will ignite miles away. Looks like Aqua Shield won't be available in a 3 ounce cartridge. So if you're using this lube, skip that gun and go straight to one that can handle a 14-ounce cart. That's probably the best life advice I can give anyone. Sometimes things are good in themselves, but together they have nothing to do. Like garlic and chewing gum. This is one of those moments.
