I was hesitant to order them because some said they were short lived. Not sure what they expected from 320 grit, but they shouldn't pick up rough stuff. You can only reach them after grinding with coarser grits. Anyway, one wheel was enough for me to sand a 5 foot long x 2 foot wide oak bench with 10 inch high ends plus 5 inch thick sides of the board, all twice and the wheel can still be used. It leaves a silky smooth finish that is nice to the touch. The only problem I had was that if you leave it in one place for too long it will start burning wood, but that's operator error. This also applies to all grinding discs when used on wood, i.e. keep the disc in motion and do not put pressure on it. Let the rotation work its magic on you. Very satisfied! Will definitely buy again if I need more.
