Beware - it can be dangerous

This is an update of 05/18/12 - the original review was written a day after the last pill and went from thinking I was going to die to believing I that I would live. Another 9 weeks after the acute attack there were daily attacks of dizziness and weakness, nagging headaches in the back of the head and on the sides of the head, which nothing helped, tingling in the right arm, numbness in both hands when lying on the back, irregular fever, the 20-30 Lasts minutes, heavy night sweats, I finally know what CLA has done to me these 7 days since February 27th. It has either damaged my thyroid or liver so it can't process hormones as my TSH is now in the red zone where it never was. When I researched hypothyroidism I found all the symptoms I had and many people with weird "malignant" headaches who were being treated for hypothyroidism. CLA definitely triggered the sudden onset and symptoms. Time will tell if the medication can bring my system back to normal or if the damage will require lifelong treatment. PLEASE DON'T GIVE UP A CHANCE OF CAUSEING DAMAGE TO YOUR SYSTEM BY FALSE PROMISES TO LOSE A FEW POUNDS OF WEIGHT! Review 3/6: CLA increases blood sugar and should be avoided by anyone with diabetes or heart problems. This warning is NOT on the label but is easy to find with an online search as I found it too late. After taking it once a day for 7 days, I was about to end up in the emergency room with severe dizzy spells that even affected my right arm and strange pains piercing my head behind my eyes, as well as bouts of irregular heartbeat . What was it, a heart attack? Stroke? aneurysm? NOPE is just a reaction to Spring Valley CLA. I decided to check this before going to the doctor - an increase in blood sugar causes dizzy spells. One fine day the dizzy spells went away (BUT the headaches remained). Spring Valley urgently needs to revise its warning notice. Lesson learned - always do your research before starting any new supplement, even if Dr. Oz says it's safe. Not enough research has been done to even know if there are any drug or food interactions at all, so realize there is a risk.
