Review on ORCISH 4500LBS Electric Steel Cable ATV Winch Kits with Wireless Remote Control and Mounting Bracket for Towing ATV/UTV Off Road Trailer (4500 Steel Cable H) by Joseph Marshall

Starting with a 3 star rating. The reason is because the description says UTV and I put my Kubota RTV in that category, but the strap is too short, about 3-4 feet. The mounting bracket fits the hole pattern perfectly. I added two steel plates under the Kubota winch mount to give it extra strength. I had to buy longer screws but that was my choice. Once I complete the installation, I can upgrade to four stars. The manual reads like it was written for something other than the US. The seller was very fast and he came when I expected. Well I installed it and then found that I had to open the box and drill a small hole in it to route the antenna cable for the remote. It still didn't work, so I got out my multimeter and checked the batteries in both remotes. They were both bad. I ordered a battery replacement and the remote works. I also bought a switch that fits into the pre-cut holes in the dash and it works great. I also bought a fusible power distributor. They show no current flow through the fuse but I will run 30 amps just to be on the safe side to protect the wiring and my battery on the new Kubota. I could raise this to 4 stars but I'm standing by my opinion due to the battery issue. Makes me think the whole device sat on a shelf for a while. In the original review, I said the included wiring was too short. There was a short cable from the controller to the winch. I replaced it with 10ga. THN wire. I know every UTV is different, but to keep everything in one safe place, again 3-4 feet shorter.
