Copes with its task without any problems. I'm using an external display as screen 1 and a tablet display as screen 2. You still need to connect your charger. Charge it up and this device fits my Surface Pro 5 without a hitch. I deduct one star. Only 1 USB port accepts the plug. You cannot connect the device via the second port. This is a manufacturing issue of the device. I already have a USB hub on the first port, so that's not a problem for me at the moment. I haven't tried the ethernet port.
