Third update. After several months of replacement, we had no problems. The monitor works, looks very nice, there were no problems. Kudos to this company for replacing and responding to emails quickly. Second update: There are questions about a single Thunderbolt3 cable powering the device and providing video. In an email conversation with reps, I was told that this is not recommended due to the power requirements of a 4K monitor. So if you think you can turn it on and receive video with a single cable, know it might not work for you. . . It's not for us (having spent money on Apple's Thunderbolt3 cable). Update: I am only updating my rating based on the customer service I have received. I have increased this from 1 star to 3. My monitor is dead. Nothing has changed there. But after contacting customer service, they responded quickly and promptly sent another monitor. I haven't received this new monitor yet, but it's more the fault of the USPS than the company. To be honest the monitor looks great so I hope the new one that comes out will last more than a month. However, the customer service I received from the company was actually better than many other companies I have dealt with, and that is saying something as most companies seem less concerned about their reputation or their customers. First Review: For the first 40 days, the monitor worked great and looked great. We had issues with the included power cord as it was too short to reach the plug on our desk. We got the Thunderbolt 3 cable after asking here if it would work and we got a yes from support and everything worked great. About 40 days after purchase, the screen just went blank. Power says it's on, but there's nothing on the screen (it appears to be off), and none of the computers we tested it on recognized it. To do this, use a Thunderbolt cable or the included USB-C power cable and HDMI cable. It's really frustrating to spend more than I spent on my TV but a few years later my 4K UHD TV is still great but this little monitor that never leaves the 4ft square died after 40 days use for work. One of the reasons I spent the extra money was because of the good reviews and hoping that a slightly higher price would prevent this, but I don't think so. I've contacted support so we'll see how it goes but honestly I'm tired of getting another one after this one died. I bought insurance for it thinking it might happen but who knows how it will work if I need to replace it. In general, I paid a lot of money for another headache.
