I have read many reviews of many 4K USB portable monitors. Judging by the controls, most of them are made in the same factory with different brand names stamped on them. If you look at the 15.6-inch UPERFECT 4K display, it clearly differs from the others. I'm writing this review in August 2022. Some features seem to have been updated. The protective cover attaches to the back of the display with magnets and there are no more screws to hold it in place. The design of the lid keeps the monitor in a stable position very well. The monitor is thicker than I would like. Other than that, it appears to be the same weight as the ASUS MB161+ it replaces. I have an HP ZBook Studio with an NVIDIA RTX 3060 GPU running Windows 11 Pro. The native resolution of the laptop monitor is 4K. I use this computer and external monitor for business, not gaming. I was able to turn on the monitor along with a 4K display at 60% brightness using an included USB-C cable (Thunderbolt?) that connected easily to a Thunderbolt 3 cable on the laptop. measured with the color calibration tool to achieve their exact match. The laptop's display is a brilliant touchscreen, while the NPERFECT monitor has a matte finish. I'm not sure the eye perceives an exact match in this scenario. For business trips it's great for me. I haven't had the monitor long enough to know if there will be any flicker or "recognition" cycles. In the end I'm very happy with my choice as long as it lasts. since it works without an external power supply. This is a great choice for my portable monitor needs.
