Review on UPERFECT Computer Portable Monitors Raspberry 15.6", 60Hz, Blue Light Filter, Wall Mountable, Glossy Screen, Built-In Speakers, DS15607 by Pierre Redline

Revainrating 5 out of 5

So many features in a thin, light, high-quality monitor!

This is a great little monitor. Overall I was so pleased that I now have 2 (and may end up having 4). I actually use this UPERFECT monitor for my desktop (2X 1080p/FHD 13.3", 2X 2160p/UHD 15.6" - all UPERFECT connected to Intel NUC HVK - I'm a big fan of small things) and when I If I want to travel with it or use it in another room, I just detach it and take a spare USB-C cable with me. One thing I really like about this monitor is that it also supports what is known as DCI 4K (see photo of Windows 10 settings). Most 4K TVs and monitors only support UHD 4K or 3840 x 2160 pixels, this little baddie supports DCI 4K or 4096 x 2160 pixels AND UHD 4K (among many other lower resolutions). It might not sound like much, but that difference is over 500,000 pixels, which is useful if you're doing some sort of digital visual art or software development (I do both) or just want more things on one screen at once. Text is crisp at every resolution I've tried (unlike some of my other 4K monitors which tend to render text blurry at lower resolutions, or 4K TVs which have unreadable computer text at the highest resolutions) . A summary of SOME of these monitor's features: * Up to DCI 4K (4096 x 2160) resolution for more detail and more virtual reality on screen * Matte screen coating to minimize annoying reflections in brightly lit rooms (although if you use the included screen protector, Blacks have good reflectivity)* HDR 10 for brighter whites, deeper blacks and more color gamut* 100% sRGB, 72% NTSC for better color reproduction and color fidelity* HDCP 2.2 for viewing native 4K content from protected sources such as Netflix* FreeSync for screen -Tearing/smooth video game* Low Blue Light to protect your eyes in low light* Built-in speakers in case you want to use them* 3.5mm jack for listening through headphones or connecting other audio devices that need to use it* There will only be one USB-C cable required (make sure your cable and any attached devices the cable connects to can BOTH the D data rate as well as the power requirements of this 4K monitor - I actually found this after trying USB-C cables that didn't work and then finally using a cable to work) *USB -PD to get that AC adapter to use to power the monitor (this connector also works with the AC adapter) * Full-size HDMI, mini-displayport connector for alternative display connectivity options * VESA-compatible screw holes (since I use it as a desktop screen, one is one required feature) The only thing I would change is: * Include a longer USB-C cable that can handle both data rates and power requirements (included maybe 1.5ft, 6.6ft would be nice for someone like me who uses it as a desktop monitor in addition to a portable monitor) * Built-in speakers that are louder with less distortion, denser The sound quality will excel through the de complements the visual experience that the monitor offers. (although I still use external speakers so I might have things like bass) *Different placement of physical buttons and/or ports as you cannot use both ports and buttons when the monitor is in portrait mode (and not installed) About Photo/Video : * One photo shows some of the resolutions supported by the monitor (including DCI 4K) on Windows 10 * Another photo shows what HDR support my Windows 10 computer recognizes (note HDR video streaming support) * The video shows what is in the menu/OSD (On Screen Display) including FreeSync and HDR options.
