Works well, simple, simple. Pinktoe Tarantula loves it :)

I didn't use any glue, but my tree tarantula was *very* happy to come down from his pine box "wooden house" to perch on the pine box Ground floor, which sits just above the glass floor from where this heating pad radiates gentle warmth. Surprisingly, it also maintains better (higher) and more consistent humidity and evaporates my homemade glass pond humidifier faster than without it (in dry California weather). She loves it! :)
