There was a sheet with some kind of tape, there is no instructions on how to use it. I ended up cutting it with scissors and glued the pillow seats to the floor. I use similar or exact products, they just didn't use tape, most of which were self-adhesive.

It doesn't mention you have to partially assemble the damn thing that has no glue on it and it says it shouldn't touch anything other than the glass of the terrarium. , so I can't even test the product without risking a fire in the house. Used under a 2 gallon bucket of water in our quail cage to keep warm (Michigan). It turned out great. The cat bed warmer I tried first didn't work at all. I will be buying a second one for our other cabin before it gets cold again. I didn't use it to maintain a specific temperature and didn't use glue.

Good padding works well didn't let me down just I think I didn't like having to stick sticky plastic on myself but I managed to put it on. The puppy update did not come about there.

I know it's not sold for starter plants but this was the best and cheapest bottom heat option I could find. The temperature is adjustable so I was able to set it low under my little seedling flats and it worked great. Seedlings germinated much faster than usual. It didn't overheat when I read that those made for seeds can do. The temperature was perfect.

I received this heating pad and when I took it out of the plastic bag I was overwhelmed by the strong chemical smell emanating from the pad. I am very sensitive to chemicals and the smell was too strong. I have no idea why it was so strong, but it definitely wasn't a healthy chemical smell and I didn't want to wait a few days to see if it went away. Also, the smell was so strong that my gecko would probably die if I used it.

I didn't use any glue, but my tree tarantula was *very* happy to come down from his pine box "wooden house" to perch on the pine box Ground floor, which sits just above the glass floor from where this heating pad radiates gentle warmth. Surprisingly, it also maintains better (higher) and more consistent humidity and evaporates my homemade glass pond humidifier faster than without it (in dry California weather). She loves it! :)
