I've replaced the factory filter in my cars in four of the last five cars I've owned. Always with excellent results, more performance, more economy. While waiting for the new filters to be fully seated in my Benz I can see an overall improvement in suction and what appears to be a smoother transition in power flow, we'll see in a few weeks. If there is no other reason, switching to a K&N filter saves $$$$ at the dealer every 40-50,000 on most gas engines $40 per filter and $100 labor and you only do it once. By the way, for most six and eight cylinder applications of this filter you will need two. My e350 has also done two and most v6 c classes.
