Note: I’ve never used one of these before. Works well for cutting mountain bike handlebars. I slightly tightened the cutter on the bar, then used a ruler to find the amount of bar I wanted to cut by measuring to the edge of the blade. Then I tightened the cutter down, after a pass or two checked the cut to make sure it was cutting the right length, then tightened a half turn every time it loosened up until it had cut all the way through the bar. Easy peasy. I also like how small the cutter is, it’s something I’ll only use once or twice so I like that it doesn’t take up much room in the toolbox.
