Review on Geesta Container 12 Compatible Chefsteps by Jim Jarvis

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The non-chromed leg was promptly replaced with a new one

If you use sous vide technology to cook at a precise temperature, this shelf comes in very handy for storing sealed food bags in the same order as books on a shelf , but with a gap between each packet. The flow of heated water is facilitated by a sturdy holder for multiple individually sealed food bags, allowing for easy water circulation with no hot or cold spots. In my beginner's experience, a rectangular water bath (like KITchenAid) rather than a round pot is the way to go. This stand allows for more efficient water circulation when submerged in water. My comment relates to the material the frame is made of. The base unit has chrome steel legs, NOT stainless steel. The photo shows a leg that was not coated and immediately showed corrosion after a single use. Luckily, and to Geesta's (name of the rack) credit, an email to the company brought an IMMEDIATE response and a replacement with a brand new rack! The company stood behind their product. Good end of the product defect without bureaucracy! Excellent customer service. The replacement stand should hold up. I'm in sous vide paradise. LAUGH OUT LOUD.
