Works great and quiet.
Ideal for power converters. I need 220VAC to run some equipment and I wanted to be able to connect to 120VAC instead of having to connect a separate power line to the workstation. It also gives me the ability to use any 120V AC outlet. So far it works great. Very quiet. It's a bit big for travel though.
