Review on 💪 Optimized Stainless Steel Meister MMA Hand Wrap Roller – Portable Solution by Jose Pacyga

I have used several Meister MMA products and I particularly like their hand wraps so thought this would be a solid product. I saw some negative reviews but thought they must be wrong. I have come to the conclusion that Master MMA is a quality brand. However, this product has somewhat clouded my opinion of the brand. Pros - Strong steel frame and good quality. I'm sure it will last forever. - A bar at the back to help keep the straps straight before twisting also works great. Cons: The frame is too narrow. My bandages (also brand Meister MMA) don't fit there. If it were a few more inches wider it would be a lot better. The grip is terrible. It's like a wire bent in half so it's open on one end and has a rubber cap on the looped end. The problem is that the rod is actually bigger than the hole it goes through and because it's open at the end it starts to shrink a bit. When you start winding, the coils compress the wire even more. This makes it difficult to turn the handle and twist the bandages. When you're done, the ends of the handle will actually be completely crossed (if you can even get that far). This makes it difficult to descale the handle. Most of my bandages require me to stop a few feet from the end and unroll the rest by hand. Because of this compression and the difficulties associated with it, my bandages are not very tight either. The installed version is a one piece pole with a slot in it to put a wrap in between which works great and I wish this portable scooter would use just that. I can only assume they went with this split design for easier portability. But I would like to take a few more grams to make the pen work better. Overall I am very disappointed with the product. If the handle were at least one piece like the assembled version, I would probably give it 4 stars. I could live with the narrow edge if the pen were really usable. These are only cons, but these two cons completely spoil the product, especially the pen. I should have just bought a mountable one. I'm giving it two stars because it's still a lot faster than packing by hand. Although it could have been a lot better.
