I've always been looking for anchors for my 1970 Chevy C10 pickup. I wanted something that didn't require pegs sticking out of the edge of the bed rail. In an ideal world, I wouldn't want to drill through the metal of the bed either. These anchors do it all, and they're super easy to install or remove (you can keep them if you sell or trade your truck). Second, they fold down to work with most if not all heavy-duty fiberglass covers (SnugTop, Fleer Top, etc.). They don't seem right for industrial vehicles, but they're fine for the average person. Just a note (hence 4 stars vs 5 stars): the edges on the inside of each hole are left a little too sharp. For straps with metal hooks this doesn't matter, but if you use bare rope or straps without metal hooks and tie old school, the sharpness of the holes in the handle points will eventually cut through your rope/strap. With a decent file or a dremel, this weak spot could be smoothed out/polished, but it's a job most people probably don't want to mess with.
