Review on 🏎️ Superior Performance: StopTech 309.08660 Sport Brake Pads with Shims and Hardware by Tony Hanson

This is one of the few pads offered for my SUV that is not organic. It's a para-aramid compound that's more like Kevlar. Not quite a metalloid, but definitely better than organic carbon. This means high stopping power and no need to swap out OEM rotors. I would classify this as a vigorous street effort or street performance. Not quite up to racetrack standards in my opinion - you need at least metal, carbon or semi-metal. And if you're really into racing, the two worlds aren't very interchangeable. Good initial bite, progressive feel, no fading, lots of brake dust. The pair has lasted me 40,000 miles / 2 years and the rotors are still in good condition (after removing all the dust). I brake like I'm hitting a wall and these brakes have never let me down on the road.
